Meet our Featured Caregiver for the month of September… Jocelyn!
Jocelyn has been a caregiver with Sunny Days for 2 years! She lives in New Castle with her 7 children: Nylaya, Antonio, Nacya, Cartier, Kash, Waylon, and Jalayah, and her puppy Cocoa! Her favorite food is chicken, she enjoys listening to Hip Hop/R&B music and her favorite movie is Matilda. A fun fact about Jocelyn is she loves to dance around and do back flips with her kids! Outside of work Jocelyn enjoys playing football and games with her kids.
Jocelyn’s favorite part about being a caregiver is getting to meet new people and being someone who can assist them with everyday tasks. Her advice to new caregivers is to take pride in what you do, not everyone is built to be a caregiver. When asked about her favorite memory with a client Jocelyn replied: “… we always talked, and she always listened to me and gave me her feedback. She also once bought me Christmas dishes, which I thought was so sweet of her to do. I still have them however I haven’t used
them since she has passed…”
