Meet our Featured Caregiver for the month of August… Melanie!
Melanie has been with Sunny Days for 4 years! She is originally from Westmoreland County, she now lives in New Castle with her Husband, Lee, their 3 children, Audra, Jessica and Laura, and their cat Simba. Melanie’s favorite food is pizza and she enjoys listening to K-Love Christian Music. A fun fact about Melanie is that she loves to sew and enjoys making others laugh. Outside of work she enjoys mowing the grass and going to farmer’s markets.
Melanie’s favorite part about being a caregiver is that she loves to help others and enjoys her flexible schedule. When asked what caregiving means to her, Melanie replied “…being able to care for people … making them laugh”. Her advice to new caregivers is to be patient. Her favorite memory with a client is when they were both laughing so hard, it made her day.
We are so honored to have Melanie as a part of our team at Sunny Days and cannot thank her enough for all that she does. Congratulations on being our featured caregiver for August Melanie!
